Join us at 5:30pm on Monday, February 10th at Bobbitt Auditorium on the Albion College Campus for this installment of the Albion College Reading Series with Author Brenda Peynado.
Brenda Peynado is a Dominican American writer of fiction, nonfiction, and screenplays. She often writes about Latina girlhood, class, race, and commodity culture through literary realism, magical realism and near-future science fiction.
Her latest book, “Time’s Agent”, came out in August of 2024. It’s a multiverse story of love, loss, time travel, robots, and the Dominican Republic. “What would you do, given another universe, a do-over?”
Her short story collection, THE ROCK EATERS, was published by Penguin Books in March 2021, and listed as one of NPR.org, and the New York Public Libraries best books of 2021. (brendapeynado.com)
